WHAT IS VLEARNING?
VLearning is our specially branded and patented Video-Learning platform. Since the advent of the internet and the increasing role it now plays in global education, there has been the introduction of eLearning. Furthermore, popular websites such as YouTube, Vimeo, and other video platforms now provide educational content for even university students, medical practitioners, and arguably, professionals across all disciplines. Nonetheless, there are still not many web sources that provide CXC-specific classroom experiences, and the ones that do are very limited in usefulness and content.
Moreover, the technological resources to digitize the entire classroom experience were never more readily accessible and affordable than today. During his extended formal education at the University of the West Indies, private tutoring became a primary means of income. It was the perfect forum within which to share his deep knowledge, and keep his mind active and refreshed; while being able to make his contribution to the next generation of great minds.
After several years, with a broad professional background and having completed degrees across multiple disciplines, Mr. Lowe was tutoring many different subjects at various educational levels. He generated an impeccable performance record with his students, who continued to excel above and beyond expectations. With such positive results, he fell in love with tutoring.
After becoming saturated with his Doctor of Philosophy pursuits in later 2017, and cementing his status as a regional expert in his field, devoting time to furthering his expertise as an Electrical and Computer Engineer limited his availability to sit with the students and do what he loved as a tutor. At this juncture, it became clear what had to be done.
Hence the inspiration for the creation of Vlearning (Video-Learning). All his knowledge and expertise in teaching every aspect of the various syllabi, taught at distinct levels, with over a decade of experience, was then packaged into the perfect Online Learning System; to prepare pupils to achieve grade 1's, distinctions, and merits in CXC, IGCSE, and SAT exams.
